We headed over to Hilton Falls Conservation area in the Milton area on Saturday. There is a few different trails there. You could even cross country ski there in the winter when conditions exist. They also have rentals there if you are considering trying it out.
Of course no hike in the woods would do without great big walking sticks. The water falls are at the end of one of the trails and they even have a fire going there available to people to use if you want to roast some marshmallows.
Since we had a great time Saturday, Sunday was just as nice so we decided to try a new spot to us that we've never hiked before at Rattlesnake Point Conservation again in Milton area. The views are pretty cool up here and there is serious rock climbing available too if you're inclined to.
Not only do they love sticks but they love structures made of them too!
There is plenty of trails here and they cross over so you can shorten them a bit. All the fresh air and exercise does wonders to these boys. I'm glad to have these parks close by and can't wait to explore some more in the coming weeks. If you are interested in visiting one of these parks you can visit http://www.conservationhalton.ca/ for more details.
