#CanadaDay Celebrations in the West GTA

We are one week away from another glorious birthday of this great country. July 1st is Canada's Birthday and as always there is tons of stuff going on in the area to help you celebrate the joyous occasion. 

If you are in the Halton area:

Burlington will be celebrating Canada Day at Spencer Smith Park from 2pm to 10pm. 

There will be all sorts of activities and entertainment for the whole family including inflatables, face painting, musicians and Fireworks to close the event, admission is free. For more info https://www.burlington.ca/en/live-and-play/canada-day.asp

Oakville will host a celebration at Bronte Heritage Park from 6pm-10pm 

During this free event, there will be family activities, music and fireworks over the lake. Food trucks will be at the event as well if you wish to purchase some eats and/or treats. More in check out http://visitoakville.com/events/oakvilles-canada-day-2019/\

Milton will be hosting it's Canada Day celebrations at the Milton Fairgrounds once again. 

Gates open at 11:30am and attractions start at 12pm and carry on to 11pm with the fireworks at around 10pm. There will be a ton of live music as well as entertainers and different shows throughout the grounds. As well as the Tim Hortons Kids Zone that is full of activities for the kids and it's all free! If you are looking for events in the Peel Region

Brampton continues to have their Canada Day Celebrations at Chingcousy Park

The free festivities will begin at 12pm through to 10pm. There will be tons of live music as well as entertainers, crafts for the kids, inflatables and of course fireworks. Albion Hills Conservation Area is hosting Caledon's Canada Day celebrations from 6-10:30pm

This free event that grants you free admission with donation to Rotary Club of Palgrave (not sure if admission is free during whole day or after 6pm) you can enjoy music, strolling entertainers, tractor rides, wood carving demonstrations, archery lessons, food trucks, swimming pool and splash pad, hiking trails and more. Caledon is hosting a Canada Day/Strawberry Festival at the Caledon Fairgrounds from 8am-4pm

There will be free admission with free birthday cake and balloons at noon. There is a classic car show, all day strawberry breakfast and strawberry treats available for purchase see details https://headwaters.ca/event/2019-caledon-canada-day-strawberry-festival/

Downey's Farm on the Caledon/Brampton border is hosting their annual Canada Day Strawberry Festival from 9am-4pm

You can come early and purchase a pancake breakfast with fresh strawberries. There is live entertainment as well as the usual play farm activities to which is all free only during event. From 2pm-10:30pm in Mississauga you can celebrate at Celebration Square

There will be live music including Mariana's Trench as finally. Port Credit in Mississauga by the lake will be hosting a Cananda Day celebration as well

Churchill Meadows Community Commons is another happening place for Canada Day celebrations in Mississauga.

From 2pm until after 10pm (kid zone vendors can close as early as 6 and will be wrapped up by 9pm) their will be all sorts of entertainment. There will be a kids zone with inflatables, magic shows, petting zoo, carnival games and more.. There will be a gaming RV tons of live acts and a variety of food.
